URGENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED! ❤️😺🏡 MILLIE & MAX were taken to a cattery in summer while their owner moved. But the owner never turned up to collect them, or even pay! Its now winter and all these two little darlings want is a loving, warm home. They are bonded so must stay together. They are 11 years & 14 years young. Please can you help? --------------------------------- Do you want to enjoy the company of a cat in your own home, but without the commitment or expense? THEN BECOME A FOSTERER FOR GOLDIES! We are always looking for new fosterers to join out small but mighty team of volunteers. Without them, Goldies couldnt rescue and rehome as many kitties as we do. Fostering is a very rewarding experience - you are the bridge between what was and what can be. You provide a cat/s with a safe temporary home, many of which face being destroyed or suffering further is we do not find them a foster place. By volunteering as a fosterer, you get to play an active role in animal welfare in your local area. You will be able to enjoy caring for the cat/s while gaining experience of volunteering for a charity and become part of a team committed to pet welfare. We are a close little group of volunteers who all support and help one another, and we even meet up for outings. All vet treatments are covered by Goldies, so there is no out of pocket expenses. We also can provide you with all food, litter and anything else you may need such as litter trays, bed, blankets, scratching post, cat toys etc. If you already have pets, you must have a spare room or a way of separating the foster cat from your pets while they settle in their foster home (one of our volunteers is able to separate her lounge room from the rest of her house, so her foster cat/s stay in this room). You must be willing to use our vets in Romford (Companion Care, inside Pets at Home). We currently have numerous cats on our waiting list, two who we need to find a foster home before by tomorrow, and another by next Wednesday. We also know of a pregnant cat who urgently needs help.
