**URGENT**Foster home at least needed immediately! Buddy is about 1 ½ years old, a whippet/hound mix weighing approximately 40 – 45 pounds. He was left behind to live on a farm by himself for the past year, with people dropping food off for him. Remarkably, he loves people with a strong desire to be loved! He gets along well with other dogs. He will run with cats—but is not aggressive towards them, so if he was with a cat that didn’t run from dogs, he could likely learn to not chase the kitty! We don’t know how he is with kids, but since he shows no aggression and only wants attention, would likely do well with older kids that understand dogs. He stayed in a home for one week with other dogs and we were told that he was great with the other dogs, and thoroughly enjoys cuddle time, especially under the blanket with a human! Buddy is showing signs of some separation anxiety when left alone such as in a room or crate, which is understandable so we are looking for someone that can spend time with Buddy and reassure him he will not be left behind again.
