URGENT TRAFFIC NOTE: Traffic delays can be expected in the area of the Regent Street/Route 8 underpass in the City of Fredericton due to an accident on June 27 which damaged the structure. On Regent Street (Route 101), northbound lanes are open heading toward downtown Fredericton. However, one southbound lane is closed indefinitely until repairs are made. On Route 8, two northbound lanes are closed until 5 p.m. today. One other northbound lane remains open. The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is assessing the damage and repairs will be made as necessary.
