US Ambassador to Nepal, Peter W. Bodde and ambassadors associated with the European Union held a separate meeting with UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Friday. During the meeting held at Dahals residence at Lazimpat, the US Ambassador urged the UCPN (M) Chairman to accept the results of the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections, stressing the need of the party representation in the new CA. Similarly, the EU Ambassadors urged leader Dahal to welcome the election results reminding him that the second CA election was an agenda of the UCPN (M) itself. In response, UCPN (M) Chairman said the party suffered illegal and anarchic treatment during the election, the party representatives were not included in the transportation of ballot boxes, they were unsealed before taking to the counting stations and were not taken to the counting centers on time, and the party realised that some conspiracies in the vote counting process, according to party Spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota.
