US Congressman Michael Grimm, a Republican from Staten Island, refuses to resign after pleading guilty to tax evasion. Maybe its a ploy to negotiate a better sentence, who knows? This case involved 20 charges of tax evasion and fraud, and has obviously been around for a while. Maybe Staten Island voters think trying to cheat the government (and employees too) is an honest past time. What it is definitely, is yet another bad actor in government who people can point to when they claim all government is corrupt and wasteful. Sort of like this poster does.
