US10976285 - Well the Slim Down/Shape Up Challenge is coming to a close. I did manage to lose 7 lbs during the challenge which doesnt sound like a lot to me but when added to what Ive lost since being on the products for almost a year brings me down not quite 25 lbs for the year. Which really is amazing considering when I began using Genesis Pure products I didnt set out with the intention to lose weight, that was just a side benefit. While I dont feel like I see a big difference from the beginning of the challenge to now I feel better and have seen a difference in my workouts. Ive managed to run 4 miles more than once during workouts which is huge because I dont like to run! I have also found that when I am not able to get to the gym that I am actually missing it...to the point that I even ran 3 miles outside over spring break...remember I said I dont like to run, especially outside! I have also become more aware of not only my diet but that of my family and we are making more of an effort to eat healthier. We seldom do fast food anymore and while my son continues to be stubborn about things he is completely off of pop and choosing more healthy breakfast cereal vs the sugary cereal...and as long as he stays out of the kitchen while Im cooking eats more veggies than he realizes! I almost didnt join this challenge...did not want to share my weight or pictures...but am glad I did not only for making me feel better and more aware of things but for the opportunity that it gave me to hear about all of the other amazing stories that were shared. There are many amazing people out there who are doing great things and are very motivating.
