USAPANG PAMILYA When my father says do this, usually, we undergo lengthy negotiations before I say yes. When lolo do the same, matik ang yes, not because he is scary, I just really donno how to say no to him. Ang bait kasi, so I cant dare to let him down. He is actually a real disciplinarian, when we stay in his house may mga rules: dapat kumain on time at isa o dalawang beses lang dapat tawagin, dapat as much as possible mag stick sa seating arrangement sa dining table, pag nag aaway ang magpinsan ang mga nakakatandang pinsan ang mananagot, bawal makisali sa usapan ng mga matatanda, pag nagpapahinga siya bawal kaming gumawa ng mga gawaing bahay, pag may ibibigay sya bawal tanggihan, at madami pang iba. But those facts did not remove his sweetness and tolerance. He knows how to break our undesirable traits, without breaking our hearts. There were moments when we talk about why he perceived a certain attitude of mine to be bad, and it usually ends up with oh, magbinutan jud. Sabay rub on the head at abot ng candy. :) And before we go home after a visit, after the mano po, hell give us money, pambaon daw sa school, but that even continued after college graduation, it just stopped after we explained that we have work already, and it should be our time to reciprocate. He is really sweet, supportive, idealistic, and is sincerely loving. I would forever be grateful for the discipline and wisdom he taught me. I cant forget the lessons he imparted, and of course his peptalks na walang katulad. I will miss you lo :( and youll forever be me my inspiration to do good and keep our familys morals. Rest in peace lolo Roberto Ydemne Pastidio. We love you mister great.
