USMC Career Planner- If you dont have College you will never find a job in the civilian world getting paid more than you are right now. Reality- The only person that will lie more than your recruiter is your career planner. I got out of the Corps and within a few months I had a job making 3X as much as I was making in the military as an E-4 and I never went to college. This is also true for allot of my close friends that got out around the same time, give or take a year. Now it is true that certain jobs require college but its not to the extent of what most people think and a pet peeve of mine is when people blame the economy and them not being able to find a job, No you cant find a job because your lazy.
