UTAS’s Australian Maritime College and The Royal Australian Navy’s Training Force Headquarters have formed a training group which formalises a relationship of more than thirty years between the AMC and the Navy. This exciting new development between UTAS and the Navy allows for the establishment of formal strategic discussions on mutual maritime training issues and to gain a better understanding of each other’s needs and capabilities. The creation of the working group means Navy personnel will conduct training at AMC, based in Tasmania, in the areas of navigation and naval architecture.
