UWS PENRITH OBSERVATORY ANNULAR SOLAR ECLIPSE Tuesday, 29 April 2014 The University of Western Sydney Penrith Observatory will be open from 4.00pm to view a “partial” solar eclipse. The eclipse will begin at 4.14pm and end at 5.17pm at sunset. Mid-eclipse is at 5.15pm, just before sunset, when 52% of the Suns diameter will be covered. Come along and safely view this “partial” solar eclipse through the observatory’s telescopes and ‘eclipse glasses’.
