Uganda President Yoweri Museveni has blocked reprehensible anti-gay legislation and now two Church of England Archbishops (one a native of Uganda) have sent letters condemning anti gay initiatives to Nigeria and Uganda. 36% of Ugandas population is Church of Uganda protestant. The large denomination is closely linked by history to The Church of England. Nearly half of my former home countrys population are Catholic; about 12 % are Muslim and the remainder are smaller groups of protestants and animists.
