Uh, had my attention, til said prosperity is hoohah. Not so, was feelin overall message. And Lillian has great ministry, so not knocking HER. We suppose to live in abundance, prosperity financially as well, health.3 John 1:2 - Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. Thats bible as well, along with some other things said. Based of few things spoken here, let me say, alot of old school taught boc that along with holiness, you sooo serious, uptight, cut throat truth and scare people to death(my seriousness is part of personality a lil, dont mean anything wrong, part of it military, but those that know me, know Im can be quite the opposite of appearance, mine not from church,lol, wink). We used to witness to people when I was little and I was scared,lol. You cant walk up to people abrasively and expect to get a receiving response/do u know Jesus while scawling at them bout to hit them over the head with the bible. There is a finese and loving way. I remember in my early 20s, out of the blue, God told me to walk up to this man, this woman, and witness, was scared to do it, because of my teachings/the way I was taught. And I knew it was God because, If it were left up to me, when it came to that,I wouldnt.now he could say,tell so n so,great things coming, Id do it. Quick side note:Anyhoo, I did it,but he said you dont have to scare them or be so abrasive, talk to them. So I began to talk, about average, children,etc and I began to share what God did for me and my son,etc,how he brought me out and it was received and he broke something in me. Another instance, was going into market and heard go in this store..did not immediately..but did and walked in, heard gospel music blaring, which broke something off me, til the point, I asked for the manager and wanted to know who was playing the music, a lil ad emit, says, me, I thank him,give testimony and turn to leave & I heard God speak, say, such n such...was SCARED,lol..but it was like something grab my chest and wouldnt release til I spoke it..i did and it released,then man turn around n said, when God tell you to say something, do it,dont hesitate, etc...well knock me over with a feather God...yes Lord. Quite a few stories, I could share. Anyhow, alot of these things done is not biblical, its tradition, self man made ways and ceremonial works. And truth, some people, God is more firm with in approach, because thats what THEY need. But God will give you wisdom on how to deal with people, everyone different. Yelling, being abrasive,etc wont get response or growth out people or me you will get the opposite and thats why some people shut down & I wont open up. What is God? God is love...everything he does is surrounding love...even when he corrects us,its because he loves us. Man punishes when we dont respond the way wanted, etc. Not God. I rest my case.
