Ukraine calls for international support amid border provocations by Russia The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry expects the international community to increase pressure on the Kremlin to make it stop its aggression against Ukraine, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministrys information policy department has said in its commentary on Russias acts of provocation at the Ukrainian-Russian border. The Foreign Ministry expressed a categorical protest and sent a protest to this effect to the Russian Foreign Ministry today in the wake of the latest flagrant acts of provocation at the Ukrainian-Russian border. On the night of 12 July, the Ukrainian border checkpoint Marynivka was mortared from the vicinity of the population centre of Kuybyshevo in Rostov Region, Russia. In addition, drones flying from Russian territory violated Ukrainian airspace several times yesterday. Despite Ukraines numerous requests, the FSB border service has not taken any action to prevent numerous violations of the Ukrainian state border by armed men and military hardware from Russian territory. The Russian side has been cynically ignoring the fact that Ukrainian servicemen and peaceful Ukrainians have been dying at the hands of terrorists whom it supports. However, in one of their letters to the Ukrainian State Border Service, Russian border guards drew attention to the killings of domestic animals as a result of a shell explosion some 500 metres from the Ukrainian-Russian border. The Ukrainian side categorically demands that that the Russian authorities stop such acts of provocation at the border as well as comprehensive support for armed terrorist groups in Ukraines east. We expect the international community to give an unbiased assessment of Russias actions which lead to the exacerbation of the situation in eastern Ukraine and increase pressure on the Kremlin to make it stop the implementation of violent plans against Ukraine, the ministry said. #Euromaidanpr #ЄвроМайдан – EuroMaydan #єдинакраїна #Kiev #donbass #UkraineDesk
