Um...say what?! I just read this on a web page in an article by by Nathan Wei, MD, FACP, FACR: "One problem with all these massage techniques is that it is difficult to properly ascertain the effectiveness of a hands-on therapy like massage. "Only one form of study can truly prove that a treatment is effective: the double-blind, placebo-controlled trial." Let me see here....hard to properly ascertain the effectiveness? For REAL? Do you feel better? Or do you NOT feel better? Are you going to wait for a clinical study to tell you whether massage therapy works or not? Or are you going to trust your own physical feedback mechanisms?
