Unbelievable, but not unexpected from these self styled idiots who only have their own future in mind. How the coalition is stopping the reintroduction of wildlife to the UK. The infrastructure bill seeks to reclassify extinct species as non-native, and prevent them from returning. The majority, if not all species that are now extinct in the UK have been eradicated by humans and now our ever caring Coalition Government say, once extinct they are no longer a native species. They are currently waging war on many species through this country, including hen harriers, buzzards, badgers and wild boar among other wildlife. Take the goshawk and common crane for instance. They were hunted to extinction, but have returned due the vast conservation efforts of many people over many years. So, our iconic goshawk should now be classed as feral? At least that is how they will be referred to under this legislation. How can we discriminate against one reintroduced species compared to another? We cant, but our Government wants this.
