Unbelievably, this is the third time I have tried to post my thoughts of gratefulness in three days, but day two still hasnt worked. Maybe I need to be taught patience? Day two - 3 things I am grateful for. 1. I am grateful for my Uncle Maloy. He is my moms older brother, and has been my inspiration as long as I can remember. His talent shines in interiors, floral design, art, and kindness. I watched him prepare for weddings, parties, and all manner of fun events. He can make anything wondrous. He moved furniture around, prepared beautiful store windows, talked of antiques and architecture, and exposed me to a world of design. I give him all the credit for creating the passion I have today. Thank you, Uncle Maloy! 2. I am grateful that my parents are still alive and kicking! They are doing well, and both of them are just as sassy and fun loving as ever. They live nearby, and that is a comfort to me. I am grateful that they are great-grandparents, and also amazed and happy! 3. I am grateful that my grandmother, who was a school teacher, instilled in me a love of reading, and the importance of books, all the way down to how to turn the page correctly. I do not think she would like the Kindle one bit! On day two, which is really day 4, I pass the gratitude torch to Alan R. Hall, Teri Hartnell- Nelson, and Sarah Fishburn. 3 days, 3 gratitudes, 3 others tagged each day!
