Under 17s on verge of League Title Lisburn Distillery Under - TopicsExpress

Under 17s on verge of League Title Lisburn Distillery Under 17s go into Saturdays game against Ridgeway Rovers on the verge of securing the LJIL (Lisburn Junior Invitational League) title. With 16 wins out of a possible 16 league games so far and having lifted the LJIL Shield already back in January the team have been in outstanding form since the season began back in September. Team coaches Sam Allen and Richard Evans (pictured) have something of a reputation working at this age group having lifted the NIBFA Trophy at the Under 17 age group for the Wee Whites back in 2011. Should Lisburn Distillery beat Ridgeway and Newry City defeat local rivals Hillsborough Boys the Wee Whites will secure the title with seven league games still remaining. If not the team will still have a huge gap at the top of the league table and have to keep the champagne on ice. All our best to the team and all our Academy teams this weekend.
