Understanding that other presidents before him equally shameful records on a number of issues, I nonetheless can categorically declare Obamas State of the Union the most ridiculous, hypocritical, wholly-unachievable, us-versus-them speech Ive witnessed from a president since ... the last time he delivered a State of the Union. The best - and only worthwhile part of the night - was the tribute to the wounded soldier. But even that was a disgrace because, really, didnt Obama promise to end the Afghan war about two years ago?
