Unforgivness is like a wall that we erect , as a means of protection . We use the hardest known materials , hardened human hearts , and pride as a mortar . As we age we learn and grow in maturity and hopefully demolish that strong hold , or we build it higher and higher until wall ourselves in . The pride filled act of unforgiveness leaves us all alone and void of any capable love , neither giving or receiving . The only solvent capable of penetrateing this barrier is the love of Christ , because in the end what you are left with is you standing their clutching what you held dear , your pride .
