Unfortunately we are having to rehome our 1 yr old boxer/lab mix. He is absolutely the most perfect dog ever when you are home. Never barks, just lays around, house trained. But growing up in the animal shelter until we adopted him a couple months ago, has caused him to have severe separation anxiety. We have tried everything we can except medication to help this and not much as work for long periods of time so we are looking to place him in a home where someone is willing to medicate him or will be home all day with him. He is fixed and up to date on all shots. Goes to work with me once a week (at a doggy daycare) so is great with all dogs. Hes good around horses and is also fine with cats. He comes with me to the barn and never runs too far. He likes to keep me in sight. Im requiring a vet reference and a home check along with a $50 rehoming fee. Its just too much for us to handle while we are renting where we live and want to do whats in his best interest.
