United has a sense of humor. This is what they put in the Pass Travel Newsletter. Fostering Open, Honest, & Direct Communication,Social Networking:Please be mindful that your use of Social Networking could have an adverse effect on United’s business interests and reputation. The company values its established brand reputation and goodwill relationships. Refrain from disparaging or discrediting United’s products or services, your co-workers or United’s customers. Avoid posting comments that could damage United’s reputation. ----------------------------------------------------------------- They might have thought about his BEFORE they stripped the retirees of their EARNED benefits, (AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT OFFICIALLY NOTIFIED THE RETIREES THEY STOLE THEIR BENEFITS!) They might have thought about this BEFORE they started outsourcing mainline stations to cheap labor, and not to mention furloughing flight attendants. ------------------------------------------------------------------ They VALUE their established brand reputation? Which reputation are they talking about? The one that Continental management has already ruined by stripping the front line CSRs of a superior computer system? And what about the Mileage plus customers that theyve pissed off. ---------------------------------------------------- Sorry, United, we live in America, and we have the right to free speech, on social media, the press and even at the airport, which our VETERANS have fought and died for. So, we are very mindful of what we are saying, and we are willing to continue to fight for our benefits! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- DO THE RIGHT THING, AND RESTORE THE RETIREE BENEFITS AND STOP THE OUTSOURCING! Might as well get rid of Smisek while you are at it.
