Universal Studios Part 2: Here are some movie/theme park related pictures of the studio; most were taken during the studio tour. Its interesting to see how movies are made even with todays technology. There was filming taking place in the New York section of the backlot, which is where the clocktower from Back to the Future stands to this day. Most of the houses and buildings you see from the city building to the old Mexico/Old West bungalows were just facades or only fakes that look good in front with only functional parts behind where no one can see. Gabriel was astonished to see how movies are shot on the backlot. He especially liked the DeLorean Time Machine and the Battlestar Gallactica Cylon.( Eric Searcy, those photos are for you! :-)) We took a nice drive down the Desperate Housewives street and saw the many houses that make up that neighborhood, complete with Michael Myers. ( Junior Gonzales-Byrn, that ones for you! ;-) ) It was neat to see the offices of Alfred Hitchcock and Illumination. Speaking of Hitchcock, the Bates Motel and the Psycho house were in need of renovation. A nice touch were the street signs named after directors and actors.
