University of Petra announces a vacancy for the position Network Administrator The applicant should have the following: Main qualifications: Holding Jordanian Nationality. Holding Bachelor degree in Computer engineering or any or relevant degree in computer sciences. Minimum 3 year Experience. Good command of English both spoken and written. Main Responsibilities: Thorough understanding of the TCP/IP suite. Experience with advanced network concepts and technologies such as QoS, CoS, IDS/IPS, VoIP, flow controL.ete. Knowledge of implementing and troubleshooting dynamic routing protocols. Maintain network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor. Switches, routers, firewall, VPN, VOIP and wireless access. Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 200x servers. Exchange 201x servers. VMware virtualization. Blade systems and file servers. SAN and NAS enterprise storage solutions. Backup Solutions.
