Unlike most of my fellow seniors in 2012, I never thought about college, because at the time, it wasnt something I wanted. And now, 2 years later, I am acting like a high school senior, looking at colleges, requesting information, and wondering how in Gods name is someone supposed to come up with that kind of money to pay for school, a vehicle, and all the the other financial stress that college brings. I never knew exactly what I wanted out of life, I wanted to have fun, I wanted to Live the Dream. Well, I asked myself, I said, Self, what makes you happy? What is it that you love doing? I got my answer. Facebookers, as many of you know, I love the crap out of my job here at Blue Hills. But last week I was given the opportunity to visit a different mountain, and work there for a day. It felt the same. 200 miles from my Blue Hills, and I still felt at home. I know that Blue isnt forever, Ive been hearing it for years, but its a great step in the right direction. So, here I sit, looking at schools, and I think its time to grow up, and apply to schools for the 2015 fall semester. I wish I still had a guidance counselor. :)
