Unofficial Warning - SEVERE WEATHER WARNING FOR HEAVY RAINFALL AND FLASH FLOODING SOUTH EAST COAST AND DARLING DOWNS BRISBANE, SUNSHINE COAST, TOOWOOMBA , SOUTHERN DOWNS, LOGAN CITY and the GOLD COAST Heavy areas of Rainfall has been Detected on radar over recent hours, so it is necessary to issue a general Severe weather warning. Widespread areas of rain and storms are expected to continue overnight before clearing the coast by 7am Sunday morning. Additional rainfall of up to 30 - 50mm is expected overnight, however this may be higher if you are under a thunderstorm or local area of heavy rainfall. Some minor flooding/ Flash flooding of small rivers and streams from any additional heavy rainfall is likely.
