Until now, I havent been able to talk about this... but now that most of the family is aware of what happened, I just wanted to share with the rest of my family and friends what weve been dealing with. On Sept. 9th, we got my daughter, Taylor, a brand new Jeep.... On Nov. 1st, that same Jeep went up in flames in our driveway just seconds after Taylor had gotten out of it. We have no clue what happened, but it clearly started in the dash. We immediately called the dealership (after the fire dept, of course) and they came and picked it up. Jeep corporate sent an investigator to look at it and after sitting there for nearly a month, they sent us a letter stating that they found nothing defective and therefore took NO RESPONSIBILITY for this incident!!!!! Im sorry, but brand new vehicles do not just burst into flames for no reason at all....Poor Taylor constantly thinks she smells something burning and has nightmares nearly EVERY night!!!!!! This whole thing makes me sick.... I watched how fast that car went up in flames and cry every time I think about Taylor sitting in that driver seat only seconds before.
