Until the common citizens of the US collectively decide that - TopicsExpress

Until the common citizens of the US collectively decide that capitalist based money-politics should be abolished and a government FOR THE PEOPLE rather than for the corporate profits of FEW people should be re-established, this sort of governing will continue. It is so sad that the Occupy movement splintered and has all but fallen apart rather than becoming a political force to enact real and long-term change to the systematic rule of money that pervades every level of our government. EDUCATE people about what capitalism really is. Its not the american dream, rather it is the nightmare that has dragged this country to the brink of destruction on more than one occasion. It is the reason there are millions of american citizens without homes, proper healthcare or a secure means of acquiring either (i.e., jobless rates and income equality in worst shape since the great depression). Only a government bent on the overall health and happiness of EVERYONE in the country will be able to right all the damage done by corporate and private greed and avarice and turn this nation into a true example of strength and equality. Provide HEALTHCARE rather than forcing PAYMENT TO INSURANCE COMPANIES. Provide for basic needs rather than refusing water to folks who have no way to PAY for it. Stop rewarding PROFITS over PEOPLE mentalities of companies. Tax the PROFITEERS (whether companies or corporations or whomever) to support the PEOPLE rather than taxing the people to support profiteers. And stop believing the lies such as competition breeds innovation and realize that NEEDS of PEOPLE encourage innovation, and without educated people, companies and corporations couldnt exist, let alone provide new ideas. Money is just a fluctuating representation of the value of goods, or actually the work to provide those goods. Stop allowing those that profit most from determining how that money is valued. Stop allowing the government to enact laws that force us to PAY private companies (primarily insurance companies) which are answerable only to themselves, and enact laws that actually help provide services to the people who need them. Everyone Ive known has heard (and mostly agree with) the statement that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. And yet we allow homelessness, starvation or malnutrition, joblessness and other forms of monetary oppression to run rampant throughout our communities. LEGALLY! TAKE BACK YOUR GOVERNMENT AND FORCE THIS COUNTRY BACK ON THE PATH TO TRUE STRENGTH AND WORLD LEADERSHIP! Lead by example, not by force of arms!
