Unto the Barony of Mordenvale Thanks goes out to those who attended yesterdays Baronesss Birthday Bash. It was a beautiful sunny day and much fun was had by all. Firstly, to my good husband Baron, I thank him for his organisation of the day and for Marshalling the tourney. Also, to Lady Grace for her dedication in organising for me the archery tourney. I dont ever get enough chance to thank you for all you do, and for what your dedication means to me. To Linda van Pinda, for your graceful voice, heralding the event for the first time. You would never have guessed it was your first tourney. Thankyou for your part. To my outgoing Champions Cenwulf and Donchad, thankyou from the bottom of my heart for your service over the past twelve months. You have shown me honour in your duty, in your persons and in your manner of respect. You embody the dream. May your journey in the game take you forth now, as you both endeavour toward teaching and mentoring. You are both an asset to Mordenvale, to Lochac, to the game we play. I hold you both dear in my heart and am proud of you as the men you are, the fighters you have become and the Peers that one day you will be. *tears* Held on the day were both archery and heavy tourneys to challenge the Baronesss Champions. It is with much pride that I announce my new Heavy Champion as Jackson Shields who fought valiantly. I look forward to watching him fight in my honour over the next year. With an exceptionally full field, I announce my Archery Champion as Beetle Nick Cervenec. The last man standing with a whopping 55 yard shot (he got 3 targets from 12 arrows), he was most definitely my Champion of choice. However, I also have decided to take on a Junior Champion as well. Tyran of Mordenvale was in the final four and was able to hit the target at 50 feet, an outstanding effort for a 13 year old, earning him the right to defend his Baroness and mother in my Guard and Household. As your Baroness, I feel safe in your hands. In Service Anastasia Baroness of Mordenvale
