Up at 5:30AM, shoveled out back to get to snow blower. Heavy wet white stuff about 6+ inches deep. Weighs a ton! Okay, cardio done for the day! 7:30 AM On the road to see dozens of cars stranded in the snow banks. Roads slippery and wind gusting. Kinda pretty. Both hands on the wheel. So what if I drive like an OLD lady. I get to where I am going in one piece! Although would prefer to be seeing GREEN about now. Sheesh, youd think people would listen to the warnings of High Winds and Treacherous Road conditions, with WET Snow. (Mean its slippery out there...duh! Drive responsibly!) After all, we do live in Western New York! Arrive at Senior facility to be greeted by a sweet old gentleman friend. Then up to visit with my lady friend. Some asked me, you really came out here as a volunteer? Yup, I said. I love my Seniors and they look forward to my visit. Is it worth it? I say, YES! Check out just two of my favorite people. Two more stops then back to finish clearing out my driveway to get back in after the plows have gone by. Total frozen slush! Ahhhh! Sunday, Sunday! How does it get any better than this? Got my delicious hot coffee! If anyone reading this has better weather, Please send me a Picture of some Sunshine or Spring Flowers. Thank You! Much appreciated! #FeelingBlessed #GotSunOnMyMind #SnowBoundinNY
