Up until now I have tried to keep certain things off Facebook, but since I have heard some not so lovely things being said about myself here I am, writing this on social media. I used to be treasurer for a well known charity, I left the charity due to personal conflicts and to spend more time with my family. After I left I was contacted by a lady who was suspicious of the charity, I informed her that despite being treasurer, I was never on the bank accounts, she then asked if I was willing to sign a statutory declaration stating this, I would not jeopardise my future by lying and signed the stat dec. A few weeks later I was away on my annual holiday and received a few disgusting text messages from the lady who took over my place as treasurer within the charity, this lady is 30 years older than me and thought it was her place to call me a sly and evil person a fake and very stupid little girl and also said I never cared about a single horse within the charity, now this is the same woman who called me at 6am in the middle of winter to help her with her daughters colicky horse, that was her own horse and I had no obligation to go help, but I did and I walked that horse for a good hour before the vet arrived. I then started receiving messages from a man who no one has ever even heard of, so I can only assume it is a fake profile calling me names that dont really belong on Facebook. Well I kept ignoring the messages and then a letter from a lawyer turns up stating that I had leaked charity meeting minutes that I never had a copy of (and I can prove that). Now these lawyers are either really stupid or they thought I was really stupid because they spelt my name wrong. I contacted them telling them I was happy to formally reply to their letter as soon as they sent out my letter with my name spelt correctly, and of course that never happened. So after all the nasty messages and attempted scare tactics I am as strong as ever and have a real appreciation for real friends and family :-) I also have copies of all text messages, the stat dec and lawyers letter if anyone wants to see them. It feels so good to finally write this out, I wasnt going to but oh well :-)
