Tamborine, December 1-5) See below for all the details and contact us at [email protected] for more information or to book. _______________________________________________________ Attache has made a major lead forward, with a complete rewrite from top to bottom on their software. You need to know what is there, to make informed decisions about the path and timing that your company will take. No - you do not have to move to the new version immediately. We will list just some of the major changes and then the various events that you may want to attend or have your staff attend. Attache is now offering to host you in the cloud, if you want. Your software will always be the latest, your backups will be maintained, and you will not need a server. The down side is, you must have really good internet connectivity. Once your internet connection is lost, you cannot work. The new back end is in SQL (sequential query language) which probably means nothing to most end users. What is does mean is that you can access your data, with the right permissions of course, on any mobile smart phone, iPad, or log on through the Internet. The front end will have many enhancements, but still be familiar to your users - no-one needs to relearn anything. SWOT, SalesMatrix, WebShop, Document Manager, Powerlink and a greatly improved Fixed Assets, will also be shown at the BI Roadshows. If you have no idea what some of these are, come along and find out. The BI Release Roadshow will be happening across Australia and New Zealand in September and October. The BI Release Roadshow will be coming to Port Moresby on 10th November and to Lae on 12th November. Because this one is such a big production, we will not be taking this to the smaller venues, the way we normally so. Please, can you make the effort to have one or more of your staff attend. There will be a lot of information, and a lot to absorb, and your company will need to make some hard decisions about where they want to go over the next year or so. As our venues have only limited space, it will be those who book first, and confirm will get the places. Please let me know as soon as possible who will attend. Dealer Training will be happening at in Port Moresby November 3 to 7. This is only open to existing Attache dealers, people who want to become dealers, and people who are responsible for multiple sites within their own company. All prospective attendees will have an examination to see if they are at the level required to attend. Those who are interested please contact [email protected]. This training will be held in our Port Moresby office. Attache will be teaching everyone how to do the installations and conversions for the new version. I will be teaching, amongst other things, how to use the Reports Designer to get what you want and need. Comprehensive Attache Training will be happening in Mount Tamborine December 1st to 5th. We will be running this as a residential school, in a stately old manor house. Attache will be attending for part of it. This training is intended for people who by virtue of geography do not have access to help easily, and need to learn more. A number of our Samoan friends asked for this, and putting this one together has been a lot of fun. As there are limited numbers of rooms at the Manor, it is first booked, first in. It would also be useful for someone who looks after a large organization, and never has time to learn what can be done properly. Why residential? So that we can utilize all class times properly, and so attendees don’t have to worry about anything at all except learning, mad creating a peer group for help in the future. bungunyahmanor.au The manor is in a major tourist area, so attendees might want to stay on, or come early. End of Year Training will be held across PNG throughout late November and December. University Attache text book for Accounting and Business Students is now available free of charge to registered tertiary institutions that want to teach basic Attache to their students.
