Update - January 13, 2015 Its been a good few days with Jose having more strength and his ability to sleep has greatly improved since we have adjusted the concentration of his pain medication Monday we went to see a naturopathic doctor who specializes in oncology. We had done a ton Of research prior to seeing him so a lot of the terminology and treatments he is suggesting we are quite familiar with. Our naturopath is only one of 15 in North America that is trained in oncology. He will be working along side our medical team to assist with everything from extra vitamins to diet etc. He is currently reviewing all of Joses medical records and our next appointment with him will tell us more about what types of treatments we can go with. Today we were back at the hospital to have the biliary drain checked to ensure it is functioning correctly. The radiologist spoke with me after they finished the procedure and she advised that they did a minor adjustment but otherwise it is working. We have our first appointment with the medical oncologist next week and we are anticipating that appointment will provide us with our treatment plan. I am also currently working on connecting us with a specialist in Toronto so stay tuned for more information on that when I have more. Thank you again everyone!
