Update: 11:30 a.m. The Tonawanda Creek in Batavia has risen slightly and was measured at 3.62 feet at 11 a.m. Flood stage is 9 feet and the level by which action should be taken is 7 feet. A flood warning remains in effect until 4:15 p.m. Monday for an area including southern Genesee and Wyoming counties, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo. The creek level is expected to rise to about 5 feet by 11 a.m. Tuesday before receding. The Genesee warning area includes Batavia, Corfu and Alexander. Warsaw and Arcade are likewise included among the Wyoming County locations. #Batavia_Daily
