Update/Discussion: Currently moved up to 50kg dumbell shoulder - TopicsExpress

Update/Discussion: Currently moved up to 50kg dumbell shoulder press. 1 Rep max on a major caloric defecit and dehydrated is 160kg Incline bench. New weight: 14 stone 3/ 90.8Kg. Now the discussion part: Too many people rage/have negative opinions and generally insult when they dont understand something. For example. Ive had so many people (mainly sophists) who will criticise me for doing low carb/ketosis. I want to say diet but it isnt its just a lifestyle choice of healthy eating. The majority of arguments consist of: Nahh brah, lacking energy, fatigue, lower power output, you need carbs man dude. Youre wrong. Because you dont understand a low carb diet doesnt mean its not beneficial, not healthy etc. I do 30g of carbs a day and so does my Girlfriend when we want to lose weight. And from experience, and from talking to others who understand biochemistry, we have all experienced normal energy levels, the same power output, and great weight loss. There are even published journals to state that marathon runners in ketosis performed better which suggests an element of a more efficient delivery of nutrients/use of nutrients. The first few days whilst your body adapts to ketosis are difficult, and you will feel sluggish and fatigued. But if you have the will power to proceed, nothing but beneficial gains are to be awaited. Try it out to its full extent and do research to understand it (and by research I mean look into the validity of publishers and also concider both arguments before forming an opinion).
