Update: Durwood walked twice yesterday, one lap each and walked three times today. His potassium has been high for several days so they gave him some very gritty med to drink to make him expel potassium. Its not pleasant! Pray this dose brings it down to normal range and stays. Tomorrow he gets his 3rd routine weekly biopsy with results about 24 hrs later. They will also attempt again tomorrow to put a very needed picc line in to be used for blood draws. With all the swelling he is a hard stick and sometimes takes 4 different tries to get blood and they are getting blood several times a day. Today they drew blood from a knuckle on his finger. Its extremely hard watching him being poked like a pin cushion several times a day every day. Please pray they can get the picc line in or some kind of central line in tomorrow. Please pray for swelling to go away and for all his incisions and holes to stop weeping. Please also pray that whatever this injury to his left hip/leg is that it will get better so he can lift and kick and bend his leg. Even though these things are happening and as frustrating as they are, we remind ourselves that we are blessed beyond measure. With God all things are possible and nothing is impossible! God has a perfect plan for our lives and a reason for everything! We love you Lord!
