Update: My dad Howard Guthrie)was on his way into Pagosa Springs airport and was told to turn around due to bad weather. Satellite tracked him turn around and continue about 12 miles southeast. He took an abrupt, sharp turn towards the mountains and fell off radar. There has been no data or communication from his phone since that time. He was not reported missing until Monday because his girlfriend, who is a teacher, did not show up for work or to pick up her son. The search did not start until last night and it has been snowing heavily in that area since Friday. My dad has flown planes for over 15 years and has always had a plan should something go wrong. He was headed to enjoy the snow so Im sure he had his ski clothes and gloves, ect. There is no signal from the device that indicates there has been a crash so there is still hope. Please please pray for them. I lost my mom in April and I cant bare to lose him too. I need my lines free for updates so please dont call me right now unless you have helpful info (news stations included).
