Update: My mom will be in the hospital tomorrow for contrast scans on her lungs and abdomen to look for spread of the cancer, to take a closer look at a lesion on her liver, and also to see if the partially collapsed part of her lung is improving at all. Please send some positive thoughts and prayers that theres no evidence of metastases of the cancer and that her lung is getting better. We all hate seeing her in as much pain as shes in every day and standing by as she struggles to breathe when coughing spasms hit. With my nana in the hospital after collapsing yesterday, some good news sure would be welcome right about now! -Doc
