Update: Okay, so far Ive raised around $7,000. Ive sold instruments, mp3s and Ive been working doubles almost everyday. Big thanks to all who have chipped in or bought something. Believe me, you will all get a big thank you on the next album. We have 2 benefit shows coming up to help raise money. The first is on Oct. 31 at The State Theater. Its a Halloween Costume show. With prize and raffles and silent auctions. Plus lots of awesome bands. This whole show was put together by Eric Harlow and Tom Brooks, (I heard Bless Ed was involved with coming up with the idea.) Okay, Im putting it all out there. Heres my situation: A little less than five years ago, I got into trouble with the law. I crashed a car that didnt belong to me into a building. There was a large amount of damage done and one person was injured. I paid the owner of the car in the following couple months. He never pressed charges on me, but the state of Florida did. I was put on probation and ordered to pay a very large sum of money. Ive made payments every month for the last five years to try and cover the damages and hospital bills. (Ive paid in over 80 thousand dollars). But I still owe money and now Im out of time. I went to court and it basically breaks down to this. I have 45 days to come up with around 19 thousand dollars, or I could be facing up to 5 years in prison. Im scared out of my mind and feel a great deal of shame over the whole situation. So now, I throw myself on the mercy of my friends and fans. I need some serious help. If there is any one out there who could provide me extra work, or lend me any cash, it might just save me. Im terrified to go to jail for that long. I would be in my forties by the time I got released from prison. Also, Ive released an mp3 box set of every original song Ive ever recorded.
