Update: These last 48 hours have been a somewhat of a roller coaster. Ella kinda back tracked on her billi levels and oral feedings. As her billi raised, she became more lethargic (which is normal) but she got to the point where she wasnt even crying for her glucose test nor was she wanting to eat. She was places back under the billi lights. Endocrinologist ordered some labs that showed us her Cortisol level is extremely low. Ellas is at 1 and its suppose to be around 10. The doctors ordered an ultrasound today to check for any brain abnormalities and the results of that were NORMAL! (🙏) They still want to do an MRI of her brain on Monday to look at everything in depth, specifically her pituitary glad. We also drew some more labs today to make sure there is no other glands effected and should have those by Monday as well. We have a lot to be thankful for, but we arent in the clear yet. Im praying for a clear MRI and this is just linked to low cortisol so she can get the proper medication and we can get her on track to being the healthy baby. I am thankful for answers and doctors with knowledge to help us to through this and get her home.
