Update: This is a request for guidance in making the best decision for treatment. I went to MD Anderson in Houston last Monday to see the radiation Oncologist about possible Proton Beam Radiation. He felt that the side effects would be worse than any benefit I may get from it--so surgery & Radiation are not recommended because of the risk/reward against having a positive result. So I will continue Chemo to try and buy more time. To say the least, those were not the answers I wanted to hear and I have definetly had my ups and downs this last week--I did go to Memphis for Thanksgiving to see family and that was wonderful. I love all my family & Friends. Could not do this with out yall. Yesterday Was a tough day for me being mostly alone --your mind likes to play tricks on you. Today MD Anderson called-- they are going to speak to my oncologists here ( Dr Wall) and try to come up with a plan. They asked if I was interested in going to Houston to be part of a clinical Trial--I asked for more details so we can make the right decision for me. This is very scary and at the same time very hopeful -- I am up and down like a yo yo. LOL Please pray that the lord will guide the doctors and us to make the right decision for my future and health. I know that it is in the good Lords hands and Im at peace with that most of the time but I sure want to spend more time with my family & friends and do his will --pay it forward!!! Please pray for guidance and a restful , peaceful heart as we go forward. Sorry Im rambling!! Just tough to explain unless you have been through this in one way or another, Love yall
