Update: Two nights ago JWs came to my door, with those dreadful memorial tracts, while I was at school. My boyfriend was home, and ignored the knocking. He said after seeing for the second time the hell they put me through when it comes to death in the family, he has nothing nice to say, so opted to say nothing. I am so proud of him!!! They did not leave it, strange, but I am glad they took their trash with them. Last night my sister called before class, and tells me that they held my mothers memorial this past Monday. I asked did anyone inquire of me, and she said yes, and that they wondered why I was not there. I replied It is hard to appear at an event when the party with the information is no longer talking to you. She tells me they wanted her to tell me. She goes on to tell me how they allowed her to use the photo she wanted, and it sounds like they made it easy for her. She said my brother was hurt, but nonetheless aloof with her. Anyways, my brother has a MS moving in with him for good and he seems squared away. It is laughable really. It is all like a horribly written tragic play, where the joke is one everyone. lol Anyways, it seems they were all pissed that I would not provide them with another Scarlet Letter moment like I did for my sisters funeral, and let them gaze and judge me. And yes, they are saying I am a horrible daughter, and no I do not believe it. Again, I am laughing now, because it is all too silly in what matters to them, and how they have such a hold on my family. That mess is all my past now. They have no ties to me or hold over me. Done and done.
