Update: We are halfway through doing 48 hours of care all by ourselves in the hospital. Miles is becoming increasingly spoiled and never wants to be put down, but who can blame him?? ;) we were told he has a small Clot in his heart as a result of all the PICC lines he has had since his stay in the hospital. He now has to take aspirin everyday to try and break it down little by little but the doctors dont seem too worried about it and it wont delay discharge at all. Its been very overwhelming trying to get all of his doctors and appointments lined up for when we go home. He Will be seeing a cardiologist, pediatrician, neurologist, dietician, physical and speech therapist, and also working with the genetics team. Its a lot to keep up with. But we are happy to be at this step in the journey. Discharge is scheduled for Thursday now so that we can try and avoid driving through a huge storm Wednesday to get home. Overall we are happy to be snuggling and spending time together and gearing up to go home!
