Update from China Mrs Graham visited Chaoyang High School, while Mrs Witton visited a local primary school. In both schools we observed classes and interacted with students and teaching officials. There were many similarities with student programs. The schools did place an emphasis on developing the whole child. Students complete a range of subjects including English. We have enjoyed the sightseeing that has been included. The highlights are the Great Wall, the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven. While the days are long and very busy the experiences have been amazing and each day we grow our understanding of the culture and language.
