Update from Jon Shaw (Head Performance Coach #Para-#Swimming) at #NZOpens - last night saw great swims from all the girls in the 50 free. Both Sophie and Mary came within a whisker of breaking their World Records. This was backed up with PB’s from Georgia Gray, Nikita Howarth, Tayla Clement, Jacquie Ruth and Oliver Upston. Unfortunately Jesse Reynolds missed the Commonwealth Games qualifying time for the 100 free. Great swims from Daniel Gaualofa, Chris Arbuthnott and Taine Morrissey...all swimming PB’s on the day. Chris Arbuthnott (Eveready Man) has completed 10 races so far and swam PB’s in everything!! Other highlights were PB swims by Bryall McPherson (S8 100 Fly) and Tupou Neiufi (S9 100 back).
