Update from vet: Separation was good, there were a few small vessels and not one large vessel so he was able to close those off. He said that the tumor was isolated and not invasive so the surgery went well. There is some bleeding (normal) and he wants to keep Edgar overnight to help keep him calm and prevent him from being messy in the house. Vet feels comfortable that he was able to get all the surrounding tissue in order to prevent re-growth. Thanks everyone for your puppy prayers. May he have many more years with us - hes already had 9.
