Update on MaKenzie...Surgery and her GI Dr. came in. Today is just one of the bad days. They had to put her on stress steroids which has caused her to now have high blood sugar, but that is normal. They are now going to give her insulin. Her blood pressure is still really high, so they are adding a blood pressure medicine. She has green coming out from her nose from the stomach and we see stool coming out from her incision site, meaning more than likely she has some more leaks. As the inflimation and the swelling go down more is visible. Still set for surgery #3 in morning to more than likely go in , do more repair, see if they can stretch over for another ostomy, wash her out, and look for another surgery Thursday. We will be having surgeries every other day until we can offically close her up. She has a long way to go, but we are getting there. We are still in ICU and still on the ventilator. I want to say THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU!!!! for your prayers, your love, your support. My brother and his wife are with me today, my mom and dad, my sissy, james, constance, Keisha driving up, my husband coming with very little sleep and trying to work to be here and all of you that I know would be here if you could but are texting, commenting, calling, just your support..We are so blessed to have so many people in our life and so many that love us. Im bawling as Im typing this, but honestly my heart is more broken and more humble now than it ever has.
