Update on Mom. She was admitted yesterday to the hospital, dehydrated and infection. She will not be coming back home, they have deemed her unsafe to be by herself from here on out, she wandered off a few times on Friday Terry says, and so they are placing her in an Alzheimerss care unit. Its not the decision we wanted to make but at this point there is no alternative, she needs 24 hour care. She never wanted to live with her children when it came to this point and although honoring her wishes makes our hearts heavy and riddled with guilt, its for her own safety and in her best interests medically at this stage. Hug your Mom and Dad if you are fortunate enough to still have them around, and lets hope one day soon they find a cure for this awful disease.
