Update on Patty: She is doing very well. She had another minor surgery today to change her bandage and try to repair some more skin. The skins is stretching well and we will continue to stretch the skin while simultaneously trying to promote healthy granulation tissue to form. Once granulation tissue becomes mature enough we will attempt to cover what we can with the stretched skin. She still has a long road ahead of her, but we as a clinic feel extremely blessed to be able to care for such a wonderful, gentle dog. She has been a trooper through everything and it amazes us daily to see her ability to wag her tail even when she is so uncomfortable. Thank you to everyone for your support. We will post updates as we can while trying to keep in mind that this is a criminal investigation and some information needs to remain private.
