Update on Rick: it is so nice to see Ricks fevers getting better over the last 3 days especially over the last 24 hours. We are praising the Lord over the CT scan showing no brain bleed. the doctor did up the dose of blood thinner from 60 mg to 100 mg twice daily which he will receive Ive the next 3 months.. They will do another cat scan on Monday to check for brain bleed again. If his brain bleeds again this could be fatal so please keep praying. We are looking forward to moving to LTAC (long term acute care) next week where they will work on getting him to wake up and respond. He has been opening his eyes more often but it is that blank stare... but it is improvement. This week they have also been taking him off the ventilator every day to exercise his lungs. Most days he had been off 12 hours. He just finished up 14 days of antibiotics. The prayers of Gods people have really made a difference and I want to thank each and everyone of you and just ask that you continue to pray and ask GOD to protect and heal his brain. The doctors say he has extensive brain damage but we are believing and trusting that the Almighty Jehovah can completely heal his brain and restore his health. We are praising God for every step he has taken us through the valleys and the mountain tops... he has been by our side. Love to you all. :)
