Update on Rock Pools: - Kiama Rock Pool, Blowhole Point - the pool was initially closed due to slippery weed build-up on the pool stairs and in the baby pool. This was a safety issue for pool users and the weed was only able to be removed by dropping the water level in the pool. The valve will be closed off this afternoon however the pool will not fill until there are higher seas. - Boat Harbour Pool, Gerringong - this pool is being emptied today due to resident complaints to clean out sea weed washed into the pool. The valve will be closed this afternoon after the cleaning work and the pool will fill when there are higher seas. - Werri Beach Pool - there is currently a faulty leaking valve in this pool. Workshop staff will be removing the valve and making repairs when the tidal conditions permit staff to work safely in this location.
